Stepping into the New Year like πŸ‘‹πŸ½ ⁣

⁣A few fast facts about me:⁣
▫️ It took me 5 years to graduate with my BSN b/c I was undecided for 2 years πŸŽ“β£
β–ͺ️ I was waitlisted for both nursing school and grad school but persisted anyways πŸ™ŒπŸ½β£
▫️ I graduate with my DNP, PNP-AC in May (yayyy) πŸ‘©πŸ½β€βš•οΈβ£
β–ͺ️ Currently job searching in the midwest & east coast (I have a dream hospital & specialty in mind) πŸŒ‡β£
▫️ I work on a pediatric general care (pulmonary/GI/surgery/preemies) floor and love it so much 🍼⁣
β–ͺ️ I was on the synchronized swimming team my freshman year at Michigan πŸŠπŸ½β€β™€οΈβ£
▫️ I was born in Guatemala and have been back once (for a service trip!) πŸ‡¬πŸ‡Ήβ£
β–ͺ️ I am an only child and a cancer ♋️⁣
▫️ I created my blog to help fellow minorities in nursing thrive & to support future/current PNP students! πŸ’¬ (working on writing more this year)⁣

Vaccine update: I got dose 1 of the Pfizer vaccine on Dec 29 and am looking forward to getting the second dose in January! I had absolutely no side effects besides a sore arm and signed up for V-safe to track it all.
